Every year over 300,000 cars exchange hands in Ireland. The internet is littered with classified advertisements extolling the virtues of everything from a 2002 Fiat Punto to a vintage Porsche with phrases like '1 Lady Owner' and 'First to See Will Buy'. Buyers recognise that it's all part of the selling process and if you're a budding 'del boy' you might very well enjoy the old fashioned banter that goes with selling something on the private market.
